How About Some Good News

Posted in politics by roving on May 30, 2009

Since last summer and especially after Obama paid for the office he now holds its been bad news after bad news but there are signs out there things may be starting to turn.

I have heard Obama supporters with my own ears and I’m sure I’m not alone in hearing the stories of regret for helping to put the Kenyan into office.

REAL Democrats, Republicans, black, white, and others are coming together for tea parties to protest the abomination Obama is putting this country through with more tea parties to come.

All of the Obama news networks are crashing. At the rate viewers are abandoning them, I’ll be surprised if they are still around 5yrs from now unless they start reporting the truth.

It is no secret that Barack Obama loathes Fox News.  He has refused to appear on any Fox program during the campaign and after the election, with the exception of Bill O’Reilly.  Yet it is Fox News that has increased its viewership since November and totally decimated the competition, while decidedly pro-Obama networks such as MSNBC and CNN have lost viewers during the same period.

In fact, O’Reilly’s show alone pulled in more viewers than all of MSNBC and CNN combined.

Further, Hannity has been named specifically by Obama on several occasions as a TV commentator for which he has utmost disdain.  Yet Hannity has managed to pull in more viewers than the top 2 MSNBC programs combined.

What’s going on here?  Is there an explanation for this curious phenomenon where the very network that dares criticize Barack Obama is making minced meat out of its competition? more at examiner.com

Note the car horns in a show of support at the end of the video. Yes, I think we may have a chance next year to yank this country out of the hands of the Marxists and hopefully it wont take to long to undo all the damage that has been and will be done.

It’s increasingly evident that Obama should resign

Posted in politics by roving on May 30, 2009

This from Ted Rall. A liberal of all liberals. The kind of liberal who likes terrorists more then Americans. Even he has seen the light.

The State Journal Register We expected broken promises. But the gap between the soaring expectations that accompanied Barack Obama’s inauguration and his wretched performance is the broadest such chasm in recent historical memory. This guy makes Bill Clinton look like a paragon of integrity and follow-through.

From health care to torture to the economy to war, Obama has reneged on pledges real and implied. So timid and so owned is he that he trembles in fear of offending, of all things, the government of Turkey. Obama has officially reneged on his campaign promise to acknowledge the Armenian genocide. When a president doesn’t have the nerve to annoy the Turks, why does he bother to show up for work in the morning?

Obama is useless. Worse than that, he’s dangerous. Which is why, if he has any patriotism left after the thousands of meetings he has sat through with corporate contributors, blood-sucking lobbyists and corrupt politicians, he ought to step down now — before he drags us further into the abyss.

I refer here to Obama’s plan for “preventive detentions.” If a cop or other government official thinks you might want to commit a crime someday, you could be held in “prolonged detention.” Reports in U.S. state-controlled media imply that Obama’s shocking new policy would only apply to Islamic terrorists (or, in this case, wannabe Islamic terrorists, and also kinda-sorta-maybe-thinking-about-terrorism dudes). As if that made it OK.

In practice, Obama wants to let government goons snatch you, me and anyone else they deem annoying off the street.

Preventive detention is the classic defining characteristic of a military dictatorship. Because dictatorial regimes rely on fear rather than consensus, their priority is self-preservation rather than improving their people’s lives. They worry obsessively over the one thing they can’t control, what George Orwell called “thoughtcrime” — contempt for rulers that might someday translate to direct action.

Locking up people who haven’t done anything wrong is worse than un-American and a violent attack on the most basic principles of Western jurisprudence. It is contrary to the most essential notion of human decency. That anyone has ever been subjected to “preventive detention” is an outrage. That the president of the United States, a man who won an election because he promised to elevate our moral and political discourse, would even entertain such a revolting idea offends the idea of civilization itself.

Obama is cute. He is charming. But there is something rotten inside him. Unlike the Republicans who backed George W. Bush, I won’t follow a terrible leader just because I voted for him. Obama has revealed himself. He is a monster, and he should remove himself from power.

“Prolonged detention,” reported The New York Times, would be inflicted upon “terrorism suspects who cannot be tried.”

“Cannot be tried.” Interesting choice of words.

Any “terrorism suspect” (can you be a suspect if you haven’t been charged with a crime?) can be tried. Anyone can be tried for anything. At this writing, a Somali child is sitting in a prison in New York, charged with piracy in the Indian Ocean, where the U.S. has no jurisdiction. Anyone can be tried.

What they mean, of course, is that the hundreds of men and boys languishing at Guantánamo and the thousands of “detainees” the Obama administration anticipates kidnapping in the future cannot be convicted. As in the old Soviet Union, putting enemies of the state on trial isn’t enough. The game has to be fixed. Conviction has to be a foregone conclusion.

Why is it, exactly, that some prisoners “cannot be tried”?

The Old Grey Lady explains why Obama wants this “entirely new chapter in American law” in a boring little sentence buried a couple of paragraphs past the jump and a couple of hundred words down page A16: “Yet another question is what to do with the most problematic group of Guantánamo detainees: those who pose a national security threat but cannot be prosecuted, either for lack of evidence or because evidence is tainted.”

In democracies with functioning legal systems, it is assumed that people against whom there is a “lack of evidence” are innocent. They walk free. In countries where the rule of law prevails, in places blessedly free of fearful leaders whose only concern is staying in power, “tainted evidence” is no evidence at all. If you can’t prove that a defendant committed a crime — an actual crime, not a thought crime — in a fair trial, you release him and apologize to the judge and jury for wasting their time.

It is amazing and incredible, after eight years of Bush’s lawless behavior, to have to still have to explain these things. For that reason alone, Obama should resign.

Presidential Comparison Quiz

Posted in politics by roving on May 29, 2009

I saw this somewhere and couldn’t resist.  One other point. Its been observed that now that the Kenyan is in charge, there is no longer a body count in the news every time a soldier is killed in Iraq. Why is that I wonder?

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given Tony Blair a set of inexpensive and useless (to Tony Blair’s UK video formatting) DVDs, when Tony Blair had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent “Austrian language,” would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current on their income taxes, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had sent Air Force One on a joy ride, publicity stunt over New York City, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had traveled around Europe, appologizing for, and declaring his shame for the United States, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had only spoken words written for him by someone else, and always read them from a teleprompter would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had promised transparence, then told congress to pass the largest spending bill in history without reading it, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had proposed to triple the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can’t think of anything? Don’t worry. He’s done all this in 100 days — so you’ll have three years and nine-and-a-half months to come up with an answer. Oh yeah, and then there’s that genius, Biden…..

By the way, how’s that hopey, changey thing working out for ya’?

Biden Forced To Use Teleprompter?

Posted in politics by roving on May 29, 2009

From what I can gather from  quick research Biden normally doesn’t use a teleprompter. That is until last Oct. 2008 when Obama was slipping in the polls.  They couldn’t afford any more gaffes from Biden so like Obama, they put a teleprompter in front of him anytime he was giving a speech. But then they couldn’t watch him all the time to make sure he stayed chained to it. Remember the stand up Chuck? (the man was in a wheelchair)

Once Biden loses site of his teleprompter, let the gaffes begin. He cant seem to help it…or…he is digging into Obama on purpose. Remember, Biden warned us in his own way NOT to vote for the Kenyan with his warning that American enemies would test Obama. Before Obama was nominated Biden said Obama wasn’t qualified to be president.

Why did Obama pick Biden for VP anyway? Biden was always the butt of jokes in Washington. Was it because he thought Biden was clueless and could slip things past him? Is Biden his protection? I mean come on, could anyone imagine Biden being president if anything were to happen to Obama?

I dont think Biden is as stupid as Obama thinks he is.

I will Never Buy A GM Or Chrysler Ever Again

Posted in politics by roving on May 28, 2009

Two can play that game Obama. You want to run car companies Mr. Big Shot? Have at it. I been averaging a new car every 3 yrs and I will never ever buy GM or Chrysler again and I’ll bet I’m not the only one.  Not only that but illegally shutting down dealerships throwing 200,000 people out of work and forcing some people to drive miles to have warranty work done will drive even more away for the two car companies. They are finished.

The union demanding ridiculous wages for what? Turning a couple screws? A first grader could do what these auto workers do.  As far as I’m concerned they shoulder a lot of the blame. This is what happens when people get greedy.

It also  ranks me that I am paying for their buyouts. What makes these people so special? Why doesn’t EVERYONE get buyout money when their company goes bad? Why are they better then the rest of us?

Obama is having a blast shutting down this country and laughs about it. He actually thinks its funny. If I didnt know better I would think the Kenyan was still doing cocaine..

Obama in LA: “All in all we are making some progress” The audience laughs. Obama can’t even start the next line without laughing.  The audience knows the Kenyan is a srew up. Obama knows hes a scew up and all they can do is laugh? Does this not piss off anyone? They are laughing at your neighbor, your friend, everyone who has lost a job. They think its hilarious.

They stole OUR money and no one knows where it went. What a knee slapper.

Obama can take GM and Chrysler and shove it where the sun don’t shine.

What The Hell Is So Funny?

Posted in politics by roving on May 28, 2009

Watching  the press and Gibbs in the briefing room one would think there was some sort of comedy act going on. Everything is sooo funny.

Millions of people are out of work and hundreds of thousands are getting ready to lose their jobs. Taxes and prices going through the roof, The U.S. is going into financial ruin, our men and women are fighting and dying in Iraq and Afghanistan, Iran says no one dare threaten them, North Korea is thumbing their nose at the U.S., China has us by the balls, everyone is losing their life savings, Obama and his henchmen are trying to figure out how to take away all our freedoms, and the press laughs with Gibbs.

Our country is fast losing its identity while Russia sits back and snickers. The Republican party is mostly silent. I can only guess why. Maybe scared to say or do anything in fear of being called racist or maybe scared of what Obama does best, single them out and try destroying  anyone who dare question “The One” as he has tried doing to others.

Then the biggest punchline we have Obama saying “You haven’t seen nothing yet.”

Please, no more Obama, your killing me. ba-dum-bum-CHING!

Media Covers Up Another Obama Crime

Posted in politics by roving on May 27, 2009

When will the media or the justice department do their job instead of yucking it up at press conferences?

Its being reported all over the web how most dealerships being shut down are the ones that had contributed to the republicans. A little Chicago style payback happening here. Yet, its not being reported on any news network. Any wonder why the print and televised news is failing? Lucky for them sheeple don’t do much research on their own or they all would be completely shut down for lack of customers.

Just one of the many stories…

Newsmax Increasing numbers of Chrysler dealers are disputing the bankrupt automaker’s claim that it selected dealerships for closure on purely economic grounds, and they have filed a suit against the automaker in U.S. bankruptcy court.

“My business is being stolen from me under the guise of the bankruptcy laws [and] given to another dealer down the street,” Jim Anderer, owner of Island Jeep in Lindenhurst, N.Y., told Reuters.

Like many of the 789 Chrysler dealerships slated for closure, Anderer claims his retail outlet was profitable.

Many of the closed dealers were also major donors to Republican candidates and political action committees, a review of campaign finance data from the Federal Election Commission shows.

One company that stands to benefit in a major way from the Chrysler restructuring is called RLJ-McLarty-Landers, a start-up owned by Democratic Party insiders that operates six Chrysler dealerships throughout the South.

Co-owners Robert L. Johnson, founder of Black Entertainment Television, and Mack McLarty, chief of staff to president Bill Clinton, provided capital and political clout to the partnership, which they formed in September 2007.

Chantix: Week 7

Posted in Uncategorized by roving on May 27, 2009

Maybe I was to heavy of a smoker (2-2 1/2 a day) because I still want a cigarette. What I will say however is I may still want a ciggie but the cravings would be MUCH worse if it wasn’t for the pill. The cravings are more like if I were on day 5 of a quit. Its not a 24 non stop crave.

I’m getting tired of the upset stomachs every time I take a pill. I dread taking it knowing what will be next. The dreams are a rip off. Dreams wearing the patch were much better. All my dreams with the pill are depressing ones. One day I was just sitting there and sorta dozed. I wasn’t asleep yet began dreaming right away. I know a man who said he was dreaming while awake.

I am using nicotine lozenges to take a little more of the edge off. I break them in half. I also suck on mostly lifesavers butter rum candy.  I never realized how hard it is to find this candy. In a town of 25,000 I can only find them in one place. A grocery store. So far I have wiped out one isle of them. I hope they restock them.

I know the cravings will be with me the rest of my life. I have quit before for one year and every day there were cravings on and off throughout the day so I know its something I just have to live with.

I am supposed to get one more month supply of the pill but I’m not doing it. mainly because of the upset stomachs.  I’ll stick with the lozenges for awhile though.

Daily KOS Is Racist

Posted in politics by roving on May 26, 2009

But then that should be no surprise. Most democrats always have been racists throughout history.  That’s why I have always had a hard time understanding why the minorities continue to vote for the ones who keep them down.

The Daily KOS is a little upset at the minories right now because prop. 8 stands. They are blaming, guess who? Why the minority vote. To the KOS and the democrats the ONLY time they are of any good to them is to get their people in office. After that is accomplished I guess they can just go to hell.

NOW they want to suppress the minority the vote. These are the same people who claim to want all votes to count. illegal or not.

They don’t care it prop. 8 was put to a vote to the people and the people let their voices be heard. If prop. 8 would have failed and if anyone tried to get it over turned, what do you think Daily Racists KOS would do? They would say hey, it was voted on. You lost, get over it.

The Daily KOS isn’t shy about being racists. They are shouting it out to the world by titling their blog:

To Repeal Prop 8, Keep Black And Hispanic Turnout Low, and Counter Mormon Money.

Bill O’Reilly And Shawn Hannity Are Sellouts

Posted in politics by roving on May 26, 2009

He needed to include the biggest sellout, Mark Levin. The so called expert on the constitution.

Manning does have a point. What is stopping them from talking about the birth certificate? Where they threaten? Were they paid off? What other reason could there be? Its a legitimate subject. Obama has released no records.

Obama Says We Should Thank A Veteran

Posted in politics by roving on May 25, 2009

The more Obama speaks the more I wonder how in the world he even made it into college. Obama thinks we have 57 states, He isn’t able to do math when he gave his Selma speech, he thinks Austrian is a dialect, and he doesn’t know the difference between memorial day and veterans day.

But lets pretend it is veterans day. Obama says the nation has not always paid them proper respect. How dare Obama make that accusation.

Who exactly is he telling to thank a vet? Surely not the republicans. It has been the democrats, far left and Obama who have been against the troops.

Who has friends that hate the U.S. and everything it stands for?

Who is the one who voted against funding for  the troops?

Who are the ones who call our troops murderers and baby killers?

Who are the ones who kicked out recruiters from high schools and heckle them?

Who are the ones who smash out windows at recruiting offices and threaten recruiters with bodily harm?

Who are the ones accusing our men and women of torture?

Who bombs recruiting offices

Who walks into a recruiters office and splashes blood on the recruiters working there?

What about the code pinkos? They hate our military with a passion. I never heard Obama say anything against them.

Who throws manure at the doors of recruiting offices?

Who spit in the faces of the soldiers returning from Veit Nam?

Who compared the guards at Gitmo to Natzis?

I could go on and on.

How dare you Obama. Your a hypocrite. Look in the mirror. Your just as guilty as all your left commie friends. Your trampling all over our constitution. The same constitution these people died fighting for. The one you called flawed.

What you, the democrats and your lefty friends should do is say your sorry.

Revealed: ‘The Obama birth certificate protection act’?

Posted in politics by roving on May 24, 2009

WASHINGTON – A bill approved by the House of Representatives and referred to the Senate would prohibit federal employees of executive branch from being compelled to release any document unless a court makes a specified determination by a preponderance of evidence – legislation at least one group suspects is designed to protect Barack Obama’s elusive birth certificate from release. more at WND

Lets get this straight. After being on my job for 20 yrs, we were told all of us would have to bring in our birth certificate to prove we were American citizens yet a person who wants to be president doesn’t have to?

How much proof do you sheeple need before you realize Obama was not born here? Its obvious our so called law makers know Obama is illegal and are trying to cover for him. What other reason would there be for this? Hmm?

The Obama Deception

Posted in politics by roving on May 24, 2009

Wake up sheeple. You think Obama is there for you? Think again. You been had! Pay attention to the second half. It tells you what Obama has  planned for you and and the rest of us. He has already started some of it.

For all you precious Hillary Clinton lovers, shes into it up to her eyeballs.

Oh Oh. Obama Speaks Without His Telepromtor

Posted in politics by roving on May 24, 2009

Dontcha just love it when Obama speaks without reading what someone else wrote? Obama always lets some of what he really believes slip out. You know, like when he said babies are punishments and how he wanted to bankrupt the coal industry or how about our constitution is flawed. (Like he would know) Or the big one, “My Muslim faith.” Then had to be reminded he was a Christian (even though he has never been baptised as one.)

When sitting down with C-Span for a interview which by the way, it bugs me the news and the C-Span interviewer keep calling Obama a law professor. Obama WAS NOT a law professor and Obama lets this lie stand. Obama was a lecturer and that is a step waaay down from being a professor.  As often as Obama tramples on the constitution I’m thinking he had crib notes when taking the exam.

The interview was about the supreme court…

SCULLY: William Howard Taft served on the court after his presidency, would you have any interest in being on the Supreme Court?

OBAMA: You know, I am not sure that I could get through Senate confirmation.

Now instead of Scully pursuing this, he quickly changes the topic to health care.   Could Obama be unconscionably wanting a way out?  Way to go Scully. Typical liberal tactic. Hit something that might be embarrassing  for Obama then quickly change the subject.

So, Obama wouldn’t make it through the senate conformation but is qualified to be president?? How much sense does that make?

Obama himself is saying  that he was never vetted. Just like we all been saying all along.

Obama Is A One Termer

Posted in politics by roving on May 23, 2009

If Obama survives his 4 years in office without being charged with a crime, no way he will be “elected” again. No matter how much funny money from funny sounding names contribute or how many dead people vote.

Obama only “won” the election with 52% of the vote and almost every day I hear of someone wishing they didn’t  vote for him. On the other hand I have yet to hear of even one person who voted for McCain say how they wished they had of voted for Obama and what a terrific job he is doing.

Even with the press on his side and helping to cover up and gloss over stories isn’t helping him. They only look more and more foolish. I wonder if people like Olbermann and the “news anchors” ever watch clips of themselves. You would think after seeing how their ratings are crashing as more and more flock to Fox News that just maybe they would start reporting the truth and the whole story. Not spinning the stories  to make Obama look good and kinda smart. You know, like he actually knows what hes doing.  (which is  a job in itself) They can only blame Bush for so long before people start telling Obama and his private press core to shut up.

The foreign press is finally seeing who and what Obama is. A bumbling fool who is throwing millions out of work and putting our country in danger. They see what most of us had known all along. Obama hates the United States. When is the last time anyone has heard Obama praise this country? Its always put downs and bashing.

One blogger writes he knew Obama was a liar when he voted for him but he didn’t realize how big of a liar he actually was until recently. Well…duh. What ever happen to posting bills on the web for 5 days so we all can see it? Hell, they are passing bills no one has read. The same is happening with the cap and trade bill. Over 900 pages and no one is taking the time to read it.  For all we know there is another $2.6 million to study prostitutes in China.

Fox News: A new poll shows a surge under Obama in voters calling themselves independent.  This should be of no surprise. Obama PROMISED to cut taxes yet we are in for the biggest tax increase in history.  The very first thing he did was raise taxes on EVERYONE.   He speaks out of both sides of his mouth. He will say one thing and before the speech is over, he says the opposite.  Obama is a liar. Plain and simple. How the people missed that is beyond me.

The most important reason Obama will only be a one termer is if just one state passes a bill requiring anyone running for President to show proof of their elgiblilty, Obama is finished.  Obama would have to skip that state and come up with a reason why. So, if any state passes that bill, Obama will choose not to run again.  He will make up some story of how he is drained or maybe some lie about wanting to spend time with his family.

This also could be a way of the states getting rid of Obama without admitting most knew all along he wasn’t eligible in the first place.
