Why Not Let The People Bailout The Economy?

We have used $700 billion to “bailout” the banks. It isn’t working. 2 more banks were taken over. The auto industry is now asking for a bailout. The feds are refusing to disclose of a 2 trillion loan

Instead of wasting money that so far hasn’t worked and we have no idea what the banks are doing with the bailout money. why not give the money to the American tax payer? There was a slight bump when we all received the last stimulus package but disappeared the next month because it just wasn’t enough.

I have seen figures of anywhere from $28,000 to $1 million that could have gone to the people. We are the ones who will get the economy going again. Not the banks.  People would be allowed to pay off or down mortgages, credit cards, buy cars, houses which all equals into more jobs.

The Government would get more of a boost from us rather then the banks. They would get some of the money back right away through the tax of the money given to the people.

The reason they wont do this however is because they want and need us to remain dependent on them.
