Watching The News. I Don’t

Posted in politics by roving on June 13, 2010

I think it was in the month of August 2009 I stopped watching the news. It started because of what the news refused to cover. Instead of vetting Obama, it was a continual attack on Sarah Palin. Even today the L.A. Times is still hiding a video tape they have of Obama at pro terrorist  Jew bashing party.

They reported rumors, innuendos, and Saturday night live skits as facts against Sarah Palin and ignored Obama’s past.  What they did a report of it, was sugar coated. A person waking up from a coma would have thought Sarah Palin was running for president.

The media went after anyone who dared stand up to Obama. We knew more about Joe the plumber then some of us know about our own families in just 24hrs. All because he dared question Obama.

Just the sound of Obama’s voice was like fingernails across a blackboard. I knew about everything coming out of his mouth was a lie and it was frustrating watching the media let him get away with it. CNN had to correct Obama when he said his Muslim faith. The media even went so far as to puff up his resume by calling him a Constitutional law professor which was just an outright lie.

I saw a couple of his campaign speeches and was struck at how the audiences seem to be under a spell. It was as if Jim Jones was alive and well.

I was forced to drop my local newspaper because of the biases in the editorial sections. It was a steady stream of pro Obama, anti McCain/Palin hype.

I no longer watch my local news because they will bring up “president” Obama. Just the sound of that makes my skin crawl. I would rather read the news online from all different sources.  I will however watch news clips on the web if I feel I need to hear it. For those who would like to see just how bad the media is, I suggest visiting Newsbusters.

I have always been a news junkie. Before the web I would keep switching between the three major news networks getting as much news as I could. Now I wonder how much of what I was told were lies. I highly doubt I will ever watch a whole newscast ever again.

How Obama Got Elected

Posted in politics by roving on February 25, 2009

The campaign over the summer was the most frustrating thing I ever witnessed. The out right lies and distortions were unbelievable.

After years of buying my local paper, I couldn’t stomach the biased any longer and  emailed the editor and told him the reasons I could no longer buy his paper.

Two weeks before I canceled, the editor had written a editorial about getting complaints of its seemingly biased commentary in the editorial page. The way it normally looked, there would be three editorials pro Obama and one pro McCain. Sometimes all were pro Obama. Letters to the editor were mainly anti McCain. The editor said the paper would be more fair. Well I waited two weeks and nothing changed so stopped buying it.

It wasn’t just that 90% of the time the editorial page was pro Obama, it distorted the facts about obama in a good light and in a bad light whenever anything was printed about McCain or Palin.

Now our local paper will no longer have a Monday edition. Gee, I wonder why? Who wants to read  a paper like that? I want to read about the truth.

John Ziegler made a documentary about the biased and lies in the media through out the campaign. You can see a preview on the website He has also been making the rounds in the MSM and has been tearing them apart. It was great to watch.

Obama, Piss Off The Media. Please!

Posted in politics by roving on January 31, 2009

Only a few days in office and Obama had already started to make the media a little annoyed. Campbell Brown  on CNN was a little upset when Obama of all people signed a executive order  on ethics putting tougher restrictions on lobbyists. Then turned around and wanted to suspend his own rules and wanted William Lynn as his deputy defense secretary. Who by the way was a lobbyist for a big defense contractor.  Talk about in your face corrupt. Sheesh.  Campbell said in her commentary, ” If you have no intention of abiding by your new rules, then don’t make new rules. That would be “actual” transparency.”

Obama managed to upset some news agencies when he wouldn’t allow them in the room to film Obama retaking the oaf of office for president. So upset they were, three news agencies refused to run the picture that was supplied of the ceremony from White House Photographer’s.

Recently Obama made a surprise visit to the press room and when a reporter tried asking a question, Obama got a little upset because the reporter wouldn’t give up.

During the campaign some reporters who dared questioned “the one” found themselves kicked off the plane. Carol Marin of the Sun-Times says “The press corps, most of us, don’t even bother raising our hands any more to ask questions because Obama always has before him a list of correspondents who’ve been advised they will be called upon that day.”

The White House having the greatest transparency ever in a administration got a “No Comment” when reporters asked about the drones that fired missiles Pakistan.   I think we will hear a lot of no comments while Obama is in the White House.

I realize its going to take a lot more of Obama angering the media before they snap out of their Obama loving haze and finally report the truth but its a start.

Mission Accomplished

Posted in politics by roving on January 26, 2009

Everyone remembers the day George Bush stood on the deck of the a aircraft carrier with the banner claiming Mission Accomplished behind him. The news media and the Bush haters never let it go. They mocked him over and over. The media didn’t let  out the truth except once that I can remember.

Wikipedia The banner stating “Mission Accomplished” was a focal point of controversy and criticism. Navy Commander and Pentagon spokesman Conrad Chun said the banner referred specifically to the aircraft carrier’s 10-month deployment (which was the longest deployment of a carrier since the Vietnam War) and not the war itself, saying “It truly did signify a mission accomplished for the crew. CNN Cmdr. Conrad Chun, a Navy spokesman, defended the president’s assertion. “The banner was a Navy idea, the ship’s idea,” Chun said.

The media made Bush’s life a hell and Bush just took it. The reporters were disgusting during press conferences. More then a few times David Gregory and the other reporters were so full of themselves trying to put words in Bush’s mouth, it was embarrassing to watch. I never seen such disrespect for a sitting president before. I dare them to try that with Obama.

Air Raiding Villages And Killing Civilians

Posted in politics by roving on January 25, 2009

Obama who in his own way called our military personal murderers said we needed more troops in Afghanistan so we aren’t just air raiding village’s and killing innocent civilian’s during Bush’s administration, had the people on the left agreeing with him. Some Democrats called and are still calling for Bush’s head and to be tried for war crimes. Every chance the media had, they would bring up civilians that were killed. No matter in war, it happens. Nothing can be done to prevent it.

I personally think the media and the left jumped for joy each time a civilian was killed just so they could call Bush names. I have seen how the left acts during protests and during the republican convection and its not to hard to figure out they care nothing about others. Just go into a liberal blog and look at comments sometime. Their true self shines right through.

Now we have Drones striking in Pakistan and guess what? It killed innocent civilians Not just terror suspects!  How in the world did that happen? Bush was out there ordering our military to kill innocent people and now we have Obama doing the exact same thing. Of course Obama, promising the most open administration ever had…”No comment.” Hmm.

So, lets get this straight, if the military air raids villages and kills innocent people during war when Bush was president, that’s bad. If, however Obama is the one that is air raiding villages and killing civilians, its acceptable. Well it must be because I’m not hearing or seeing any protests from the democrats, the left or the media in fits of rage and calling for war crimes.

If Obama isn’t thrown out on his ass due to is eligibility or tried and impeached for crimes he has committed since being in the senate, this could be a fun 4yrs (if the country survives a communist leader of course)

Pay back my friends,  is a bitch.

Obama Commits Yet ANOTHER Crime

Posted in politics by roving on January 25, 2009

Obama commits another crime and once again as usual, nothing. Why do even the republicans let Obama  get away with crimes against the United States?  Even the so called fair and balanced Fox News skips over crimes Obama commits. Could it be because of who now owns a piece of Fox News and was able to force the news channel to drop the the banner Muslim riots during the riots in France. ?

In that, it is noted that Barack Obama had to take the oath of office twice. As the oath was administered, it is legal precedent that he was not President nor Prime Minister. The seriousness of this in legal court challenges is the fact when he then sat down and signed 3 executive orders as has been done since Ronald Reagan, he was not President nor Prime Minister of the United States.
Those official papers are null and void and as they have not been resigned before the public, Mr. Obama concerning those executive orders is operating not in the full authority of the Office of the President of the United States.
At the very least in legalities, Mr. Obama committed fraud as he signed those papers as President when he was not. The event was recorded and witnessed by millions of people. This is a legal matter which along with other legal matters has made Barack Hussein Obama an international war criminal, surpassing the charges leveled at George W. Bush.

What happen to the lawyer who told WND back in November he’s organizing plans to challenge, even after the inauguration, every order, every proposal, every piece of paperwork generated by Obama.

“We will file lawsuits on his actions, every time. As long as we have money , we will keep filing lawsuits until we get a decision as to his citizenship status”

If he was serious, he better hurry because he’s falling behind.

The Seven Laws Of The Obamanation

Posted in politics by roving on January 24, 2009

The First Law – When Obama makes a mistake, it is either ignored, or if it happens on a too public occasion to ignore, it is actually someone else’s fault. See Obama’s oath.

The Second Law – The United States government is now first and foremost a tool for promoting Obama’s cult of personality.

The Third Law – Despite the media’s already uncritical adoration of him, Obama will seek to bypass and subvert the media, to place his most valuable asset, his public image and his ability to shape the public’s perception of him, under his control.

The Fourth Law – Spread the worship around. Obama’s success in part owes itself to the ability to make others emotionally invested in his success, for generational or racial or political reasons. Obama’s secret is that he has no investment in their success.

The Fifth Law – Join up now. Belief is best implemented through action. Believing in a leader and actually working under him in some effort are two different things. Expect to see many more volunteer and community service programs, that will further embed tens of millions of Americans into the Cult of Obama.

The Sixth Law – The old way is the new way, and the new way is the old way. Some of Obama’s followers are slowly realizing that his progress and change simply mean repackaging everything that was in a new basket with a shiny new bow. Obama has no new ideas, as a matter of fact he has no ideas. He has plans, but they are not based on serious policies or the welfare of America, but his wishes and the wishes of his backers.

The Seventh Law – Never mention the Emperor is naked. The real secret is just how weak Obama is. Obama’s constant need for worship is a symptom of that weakness. So was his inability to stand up to Blagojevich and Burris. He surrounds himself with stronger men, because he is nothing more than a hollow image projected on the stage for everyone to worship.

Obama Breaks The Law…Again

Posted in politics by roving on January 19, 2009

Joe Biden and wife were on Oprah when she pulled a Joe and let it slip that Obama told Joe Biden he could  be his secretary of state or  the vice president. Joe shushed her because she probably doesn’t know what Joe does. The audience thought it was funny. I don’t.

Obama people and the news media has jumped on this pretty quick to protect The One.

After the exchange aired on television three hours later, Biden spokeswoman Elizabeth Alexander denied Jill Biden’s account in a statement e-mailed to reporters.

“To be clear, President-elect Obama offered Vice President-elect Biden one job only — to be his running mate,” the statement said. “And the vice president-elect was thrilled to accept the offer.”

The news media seems to have left out the crime that was committed. 18 U.S. C 599: Whoever, being a candidate, directly or indirectly promises or pledges the appointment, or the use of his influence or support for the appointment of any person to any public or private position or employment, for the purpose of procuring support in his candidacy shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

Hillary declined to comment about being second choice, but  besides feeling embarrassed, I bet she is pissed off. You do not piss off a Clinton. You just don’t.

Obama, The Liar

Posted in politics by roving on January 15, 2009

I’m beginning to really get sick and tired of all the lies he has told throughout his campaign. Not to mention the two faced things he has done. One minute he is lecturing Bush about how Bin Laden should be top priority and how if he was president he would make it number one. Now he has changed his mind…again. Suddenly from Hot Air Bin laden isn’t all that important:

COURIC: How important do you think it is, Mr. President-elect, to apprehend Osama bin Laden?

OBAMA: I think that we have to so weaken his infrastructure that, whether he is technically alive or not, he is so pinned down that he cannot function. My preference obviously would be to capture or kill him. But if we have so tightened the noose that he’s in a cave somewhere and can’t even communicate with his operatives then we will meet our goal of protecting America

What exactly does he mean by we? Obama gets zero credit for anything that has happen. He was to busy voting present or against funding of the troops. Whats sickening is the media will give him ALL the credit. How can people even watch the news media any longer? They tell lie after lie, stretch the truth, or just not report certain stories to cover for Obama.

Obama’s book Dreams of my father has even been confirmed to be a fraud. Doesn’t surprise me none. He is good at reading other peoples work but when he is talking without a script, BIG difference. By the way, when a  he pronounces the letter S in words it irritates me.

Joe the plumber owed $1,200 in taxes. We found that out after Obama’s people ordered a search on him in one of many attempts to  to destroy his life all because he had the gall to question “That One.” Yet Obama’s choice for Treasury Secretary  and who failed to pay $34,000 in taxes was a honest mistake.” Of course the media thinks so too.  How many honest mistakes, I didn’t know, or bone head mistakes are the media going to let Obama get away with?  Are they that desperate for communist rule? Do they not care about the truth anymore?

Obama wants us to give and give and says we all will have to pay before the economy gets better but what has Obama done? Not a whole lot except line his pockets with contributions and payoffs.

A poll released by Fox news says for Democrats, 82 percent think Obama is meeting or exceeding expectations, as do 50 percent of Republicans and 63 percent of independents. Is this some kind of joke? Obama isn’t even president. He hasn’t done anything. It feels like some kind of dream I can’t wake up from.  I’m seriously beginning the think this country has gone mad.

Over and over Obama has backed out of the promises and changes he drummed into his sheep and they still aren’t putting two and two together. They are so out of it that trillions in deficits suddenly seems fine to them.

The lies are what bothers me the most. Its like hes a walking talking lying machine. I cant think of a time has told the truth. He would be a psychiatrists dream patient. If he were a woman, that is the kind of woman I would steer clear of. She would clean out your banking account while  saying she loved you at the same time.

I was joking about the pods taking over peoples bodies but now I’m not so sure. That or some kind of huge hypnotism thing is happening.

How can people be so blind and deaf?

Invasion Of The body Snatchers Confirmed.

Posted in politics by roving on January 6, 2009

I was amazed how the people attending the Obama rallies during the campaign were so unlife like. It was as if they were hypnotized or under a spell. They stared at him, mouth agape in sheer adoring love while Obama talked change, hope, change, hope. I may be wrong but I don’t remember anyone in his rallies ever yelling USA! USA!

I wasn’t surprised the media were falling all over themselves in the awe that was Obama.  But the bias was particularly worse then it has ever been.  When Cris Matthews got that tingle up his leg I took notice. When Fox News started to not report all the facts and ignoring big chunks that would be considered anti-Obama, Sheppard Smith openly endorsing Obama, and Bill O’Reilly defending Obama every chance he got, my suspicions became stronger.  But I needed more proof.

All the bigwig conservative talk show hosts refuse to talk about Obama’s eligibility problems. Their screeners hang up on anyone wanting to discuss this issue yet didn’t want Obama to win?  They could have forced the MSM to talk about and  ask Obama about his birth certificate, the fact his father is not an American, and about releasing all his records.

After the election, Cris Matthews said his job is to make this presidency work, Newt Gingrich saying there IS global warming and then when Newt defended Obama I thought where am I? In la La land?

All the senators and congressmen who answered letters from concerned citizens over the natural born status of Obama said well, Obama posted his birth certificate on line.   Do we REALLY have that many uniformed just plain stupid politicians in Washington representing us?

Everyone around Obama was / are being arrested or investigated but Obama can tell lie after lie, commit crimes and gets away with it without a peep from the media.  Obama brings in millions in campaign contributions, doesn’t say who they are from, but who do they investigate? McCain who had reported where and names the campaign money came from.

But it all came together  when Pat Robertson predicted the U.S. will embrace socialism. It ALL finally made sense to me.  The Pods.

Beware of the Pods.

Where Will We Get Our News From?

Posted in politics by roving on November 22, 2008

You have Chris Mathews saying its their job to help Obama. Why not just say it. Your going to lie, cover up, report only parts of the news with anything having to do with Obama’s presidency.

The way all the reporters and news anchors are all falling over themselves fawning over Obama is sickening. If they would watch themselves they would probably be red faced at how they are behaving.

Fox News was the last stop for fair and balanced. They too have begun the slippery slope of picking and choosing what stories to report. They were allegedly told to lighten up on Obama for the time being.

I stopped buying  my local paper a month before the so called election because of the bias and non reporting of the real news. I emailed them to let them know how I felt and told them maybe after the election I will start reading their paper again. Today was the first day since the election I read my local paper. They still disappointed me with the biased so I’m done for good with them.

You would think with the news media ratings falling and all the layoffs from the news print they would get a clue that maybe, just maybe we are doing a disservice to the people and we need to be fair and tell all.

Its no wonder a lot of people are clueless of what is happening around them if that is all they go by for news coverage.

The ones who do rely on other means of getting their news I only have three questions. How in the world after reading and seeing all that Obama has done, still vote for him? How do you shut out and ignore all he has done and said? Do you or do you not know what socialisum/communisum is?

Its a shame we have to double and triple check everything the news media reports because we can’t tell if they are reporting all the facts any longer.

I get all my news off the web from a dozen different sources now. It amazes me every day how the media tells a story then you get the real or the rest of the story from different sources from the web.
