A reason the talk show bigshots refrain from talking specifically about this constitutional issue vis a vis Obama is that it could subject them to prosecution under the Smith Act, 18 USC 2385.

And by the way, do you really think conservative radio talk show host biggies like Rush Limbaugh who is way ahead of the curve (and a personal friend of Clarence Thomas) or Laura Ingraham (a brilliant lawyer who actually, as it happens, clerked for Clarence Thomas) don’t know what’s going on. They surely do and have elected to remain essentially silent PRECISELY BECAUSE THIS ISSUE IS SO BIG, SO CENTRAL TO THE SURVIVAL OF OUR NATION, TO BE ADDRESSED BY THE SCOTUS, that they don’t want to taint or politicize it (to the Rush hating libs) or give them any ammo to say this is a right-wing scheme.

Obama is a LIAR. He is thoughtful only in how not to get caught in his lies — but he has anyway. Impressive, he is not. LIAR and strong leader do not go together, not in a good way.

The birth certificate “controversy,” as you put it, is valid. He is NOT eligible for POTUS because he is NOT a natural-born citizen; he was a British subject at birth, and under British Nationality Law of 1948 he may STILL be a British subject. Regardless if that, since he was British subject at birth, he was under British jurisdiction and continued so at least till he turned 21, therefore was not, will never be, a natural born citizen of the U.S.

I think people are more fearful than respectful. If he is removed from the Presidency, some people are afraid there will be riots like this country has never seen. I say, if we let fear paralyze us, thus allowing the Constitution to be violated, we do not deserve the freedoms and liberties that were won and passed down to us at such cost.

have you considered that you’re the one that’s crazy? Isn’t that a simpler explanation that your current theory that everyone else is?

Maybe Obama has garnered so much respect from conservatives because he is a thoughtful, impressive person. Maybe the Supreme Court, FBI/CIA, Fox News etc are ignoring the birth certificate “controversy” because it’s nonsense. And maybe Americans like him because he is a strong leader, like the one we need right now.

It’s either those things OR everyone else is nuts and only anonymous ranters on the internet can be trusted.
